Temperature profile of the #filaments during the deposition stage in #3dprinting is a key parameter affecting the #bonding_quality. Lack of practical knowledge on the temperature development is still a major concern.

A laboratory scale set-up, enabling to #locally record the temperature profile, is in its early stage and we are trying to make it stronger.

This is a way that could help in #optimization of #bonding_quality by correlating the #thermal and #mechanical properties of #3dprinted parts.
